About
Somebody who gets back to you and turns up.
That is, embarrassingly, the entire pitch. The trade has a reputation for not calling back, quoting one price and charging another, and drilling a lock that could have been picked. I built VEIL Access around not doing those three things.
How it works
Four steps, no theatre
You ring, or send a photo
A photo of the lock or the door tells me more in three seconds than five minutes of description. WhatsApp is fine.
You get a price and a time
Before I set off. Not a range, not 'from', not 'depends' — an actual number and an actual time.
I turn up when I said
And if I'm running late, you get a message before you have to chase me. That shouldn't be remarkable, but here we are.
Job done, price unchanged
Paid on completion, card or cash. Invoice for landlords and trade. Warranty details in writing.

Ask to see any of it on the doorstep. A locksmith who gets annoyed at being asked for ID is a locksmith you should not be letting in.
The bigger picture
Part of VEIL Detail Co.
VEIL Detail Co. started on the car side — detailing, ceramic, PPF, remapping, ghost immobilisers, audio. VEIL Access is the same outfit pointed at locks, keys and property.
In practice that means the person cutting your spare key can also fit the immobiliser that stops anyone using it, and the person changing your locks can hang the door properly on the way out.
